(1) Vendor needs to provide fishing marketing campaign including endangered plants and animals, Mass Wildlife ensures quality outdoor recreational opportunities for hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the impressive variety of plants, fish, and wildlife found.
- It is expected that this scientific survey will be informed by the fields of human dimensions of wildlife, outdoor recreation and leisure research. The findings and theories developed within these research disciplines have contributed to our understanding of how human behaviours, motivations and attitudes affect, and are affected by, natural resources and natural resource management decisions.
- The overall sample of Massachusetts’ general population may be further stratified to allow for meaningful, statistically valid comparisons among regions of the state which should include, but not necessarily be limited to, a breakdown based on population density
- The overall sample may include multiple survey modes (e.g. telephone, mail, and web), but must at a minimum include a representative telephone survey. The sampling design must attain the widest possible coverage, ensuring a probability-based, scientific survey effort in which every Massachusetts adult resident has an equal chance of being contacted for this survey.
- We expect the number of survey questions will be dictated in part by the survey mode, and the anticipated amount of time to complete the survey.
- Once selected, the contractor will work closely with Mass Wildlife and its partners to develop and refine final survey questions, and to finalize survey modes, sample sizes, and other details related to survey methods.
- The contractor must ensure that Mass Wildlife receives the maximum value for its survey dollars. Bidders should describe how they plan to ensure Mass Wildlife receives maximum value for its survey dollars in their bid response.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than March 13, 2020
