[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide intelligent transportation system including CAD/AVL, passenger counting solution, and a planning/scheduling software module,
- Computer Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location: Proposers should provide a CAD/AVL hardware system utilizing our existing equipment (Getac Android-based tablets) for the fixed route vehicles. Equipment will be stationary on the vehicles and will be powered by the bus battery. Tablets are connected to the wireless cradlepoint on-board and operated off agency-purchased telecommunications
- Scheduling/Planning Software Module: A one-stop software module is requested to manage runs/blocking/rostering for the most efficient and cost-effective scenario planning, The scheduling/planning software must be integrated with the CAD/AVL system for seamless data analysis to be performed as well as to merge any rostering for daily work assignments to the
CAD/AVL system,
- On-board Vehicle Annunciation System (VAS): desires to integrate onboard visual stop announcements via dynamic onboard displays in the future that may also provide capability for advertising, public service announcements and other relevant onboard information,
- Headsign Integration,
- Passenger Counting Solution: Any solution must be able to identify which route the ridership should be counted for, the stop location using GPS, and provide capacity data via API or GTFS-RT,
- Implementation Plan: should have access to an online portal or 24/7 hotline that is staffed to report any issues with the system,
- Real Time Wayside Signage:
- desires to integrate real time wayside signage over the term of the contract which shall include large format indoor and outdoor signage as well as small, solar-powered units for bus stops
posts.
