[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide real time traffic inrterface licenses to improve the routing of its fleet that deliver metro access paratransit service and requesting a software application that serves as an interface between its’ scheduling and dispatch system and its mobile data terminals that will produce optimal routing options based on real-time traffic conditions.
- Contractor must provide a machine-to-machine, application programming interface API or software, to receive and process individual routing requests to.
- Simultaneously support a fleet of up to an estimated 800 vehicles.
- Average annual 1.5 million trips.
- Determine multiple logical or optimal routes from a user-specified origin to a user specified destination, including up to 10 intermediate destinations.
- Provide alternative routes based on traffic conditions, expected travel and arrival time, and distance.
- Must integrate with existing scheduling and dispatching software, Trapeze.
- Options to return the fastest or shortest route, avoid or use toll roads, HOV restrictions, road closures, and height clearances.
- Travel times for uncongested conditions and predicted conditions.
- API or software must be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with minimum service availability of 99.9999%.
- API or software must operate on the mobile data devices in use.
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on January 21, 2021.
