[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide incident reporting and infection surveillance solution to track incidents in the hospital.
- Incidents are any event deemed trackable by agency to satisfy accreditation requirements or improve the safety, care, or efficiency of hospital operations
- Incidents include, but are not limited to, patient falls, patient to patient acts of aggression, patient-to-staff acts of aggression, patient and staff injuries, security issues such as contraband, open doors, and other such events
- The current incident reporting system is a very manual process that requires users to fill out a Microsoft Word document that is input into a home-grown MS Access database by administrative staff
- The program uses an infection control database, which is a homegrown access database to track infectious diseases, and a second system called the employee tracking system, a commercial off-the-shelf solution from micro niche which tracks and reports employee vaccinations, occupational exposures, screening and respirator fit testing
(2) All question must be submitted no later than March 10, 2021.
