Vendor needs to provide live captioning and transcription and note-taking software as a service to allow a student to capture and record audible speech of a lecturer and participants, to organize and take notes during live lectures, and to make annotations throughout the learning experience.
- Solution is to have some combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) live captioning capability along with virtual human correctors reviewing and correcting the resultant transcripts to prevent inaccuracies.
- solution will be used by students to capture an audio recording of their class lecture
- Students should be able to interact, tag, mark significant moments in the captions and audio recording as those moments occur
- student should be able to read on their laptops, tablets, phones, etc., accurate written text captions of their class lecture and associated conversation as it is occurring
- able to organise, supplement, and interact with the transcript in order to create their individual notes
- software application should be able to communicate with major platforms such as IOS, Mac Windows and Android
- Works on major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.
- Student should have the ability to access and fully utilize using their cell phone, iPad / Tablet, Laptop, Computer, etc.
- SaaS solution has a variety of student engagement tools for the audio / captions
- Ability to adjust to different screen sizes and browser windows
- Ability of the application to adjust to low bandwidth or unstable internet connections
- Auto input detection and multiple input recording capability
- Ability to integrate at a user level (not domain level) with Zoom, Yuja, Google Meet and other applications.
- Ability to access a viable, complete, and easily accessible public knowledgebase and training materials that can be accessed and referenced by all users.
