[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide Student Transportation Systems for a web-based transportation routing and planning hosted solution, including, a GPS system to be used.
• System must be functional for the creation and maintenance of in-zone routing, specialized
routing, vocational routing, and other types of specialty routing such as out-of-district and
multiple drop-offs. School Attendance Zone Routing - Ability to plan and execute routes for
students in a school attendance zone.
• Shuttle Service Routing - Ability to plan and execute pick-up and drop-off routes from Dallas
ISD established locations and/or campuses.
• Curb to Curb Routing - Ability to verify, plan and execute routing using addresses from the
Student Information System and/or the corresponding submodule.
• Alternative Routing - Routing services for Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program
(JJAEP), Homeless, etc.
• Ability to add and drop students automatically from routing depending on enrollment record,
grade, location, and/or the school of attendance. The system should be configured to run an
automated process to import, change, and delete students daily and periodically from the
District's student information system.
• Field Trips/Extracurricular Transportation Routing - Ability to plan and execute routes based on
approval workflows and schedule dates.
• Reporting - Comprehensive reports (available in Microsoft Word, Excel, HTML, and text),
dashboards, and status of students in the process.
• SIS Integration - Provide direct connection with PowerSchool SIS and GPS system for data
transfers between systems, based on custom field mappings and admin user data verifications.
• Communication - Provide transportation information and communication solutions for parents.
• Routing Administration Dashboard - Provide a dashboard for school administrators to see
summary information and status of the routing processes.
• Parent communication and corresponding software must be rendered in English and Spanish.
• Mapping - Business Intelligence Mapping using validated address/ geocode.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 28, 2022.
(3) A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on June 27, 2022.
(4) A contract period will be for three years.
