[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide close the gap grant fund solution and facilitation.
- The contractor shall provide the ability for parent(s) or guardian(s) to apply, on-line application, for the Close the Gap Grant.
- The contractor shall understand and agree to review each application submitted as part of the approval process. The contractor shall understand and agree that for each approved application, the parent and guardian of the eligible user will receive grant awards through the contractor’s hosted solution.
- The contractor shall further understand and agree that the state agency will establish the criteria defining eligible K-12 students and the family’s allocation.
- Unless otherwise mutually agreed upon between the state agency and the contractor, the contractor shall evaluate each user application within two weeks of a user’s application submission for eligibility, based on the requirements and direction of the state agency.
-  The contractor’s hosted solution shall provide the functionality for authorized staff to review all requests for payments submitted by the family in order to pre-approve the transaction, within three days of the request.
- The contractor’s hosted solution shall provide the functionality for authorized staff to review vendor requests for becoming an approved vendor in order to approve their request.
- The contractor’s hosted solution shall allow for a families’ application, a request for payment transactions, a request for a good/service transaction, or a vendor’s request to be assigned to a state agency staff as an escalation process.
- The contractor’s hosted solution shall allow for state agency staff to make the final approval before a reimbursement or direct pay transaction can be paid.
- The contractor’s hosted solution shall allow for state agency staff to access features in a dashboard functionality.
(2) The contract period will be for one year.
