Vendor needs to provide computerized parking enforcement system utilizing license plate recognition in conjunction with parking meter and mobile phone application databases (flat files).
- The equipment will capture license plates and compare them to a database of paid parking spaces and alert operators for paid status by ignoring spaces that are paid and highlighting spaces that are unpaid.
- Cameras mounted on vehicle (to be identified) to capture license plates for comparison to parking database
- Ruggedized in-vehicle display with GUI for operator to determine which spaces are unpaid
- Ruggedized in-vehicle controller to manage all aspects of recognition (cameras, display, back-office systems) to identity unpaid spaces
- System dashboard for managing system
- Back-office systems requires to operate above equipment
