Vendor needs to provide antimicrobial stewardship solution.
- A provincial electronic health record that uses the Orion Platform. This has integrated clinical information from all information sources through a common client registry
- dictation platform provides a common approach for management of transcriptions. Transcribed reports flow back into the respective area based clinical information systems.
- Provide line lists of patients with positive microbiology reports and have the ability to identify by patient location and specific organism
- Ability to notify Infection Prevention and Control staff in real time of potential outbreaks, communicable diseases and identify patients requiring isolation precautions based on
customized parameters
- Provides contact/exposure tracing capabilities
- Generate reports based on clinical patient data (central line, ventilator, and urinary catheter days)
- Customizable case definition capabilities
- Patients with active orders for restricted/targeted antimicrobials
- Ability to assign cases to a specific user (simplify teamwork)
- Ability to visualize data from multiple sources on a single screen
- Ability to develop and report cumulative antibiograms.
