Vendor needs to provide voice dictation system
- The voice recognition software client must support resident preliminary, addendums and structured report dictation and be able to send to radiology Information system installed in the hospital. The system must offer templates for structural reporting as well as support customized templates, including some already in use.
- The voice recognition system must be hosted on the cloud and both client and server side (if applicable) must be supported by the vendor 24/7/365. This Cloud base system is expected to reduce in house IT footprint, providing operations with easier deployment, more timely updates, environment and access to innovations via a secure, cloud-based environment.
- The radiology dictation system must be able to support a voice recognition related profile for each radiologist utilizing the system to avoid training each work station used for dictation.
- The radiology dictation system must support admin level functions to enforce policy and procedures and provide system audits. The system must allow for system administrators to create reports on radiologist productivity and keep track of their on line time.  A comprehensive audit  system must be supported to document accountability and pinpoint problems when they occur.
- The voice recognition system must include automated system backups and the Vendor must provide downtime procedure and options for alternative methods for dictation if and when needed.
