(1) Vendor needs to provide the state and territorial exchange of vital events system
- vital records data are transmitted to critical data partners much more quickly and securely, which translates to increased support for electronic verification and certification of vital event records as well as reduced fraud
- composed of a browser-based interface and a locally installed Thin Client Application for transmitting data. Public health programs and jurisdictions have benefited from its combination browser-based and local client application interface
- to receive natality files from the States/Jurisdictions that include the required variables needed for SSA to verify identity and store race and ethnicity data for the newborn and parent(s).
- In addition to creating a mailbox in the production environment, the contractor shall also set-up a mailbox in a non-production environment for SSA to test configurations, authentication, connectivity, and the secured transmission of data to SSA, prior to receiving actual files from a State/Jurisdiction in production
(2) This bid is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14).
