(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud cost management software
- cloud cost management software for clients that use multiple vendor clouds for different types of PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS projects, if such experience exists
- This tool will help fill a gap in the capabilities currently available in the Azure portal and allow OPM the ability to manage costs across multiple vendors in the future
- A software development life cycle methodology from requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of systems and programs as pertained to cloud cost management software
- Automated Showback and Chargeback calculations for shared infrastructure and security costs
- Ability to customize view of costs and spend without tags or Identity and Access Management (IAM) role limitations
- Historical spend data beyond 12 months (only 1 year available in Azure portal)
- Increased fidelity on Shared costs with integration into showback/chargeback models
- Cost quotas (beyond just the “budget” that is built into the portal)
- Cost comparisons against industry averages for comparable workloads
- Savings calculator with projections/forecasting built-in
- Receive alerts/Notifications when cost anomalies, like cost spikes, occur, so action to avoid expensive cost overruns
- Provides dashboards, custom reports and recommendations for increased visibility.
- Alerts/Notifications are reaching the forecasted spend amount by dollar amount and percentage
- Tagging Compliance reports
- Automated Anomalous spend using 3rd party Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Technology.
