Vendor needs to provide advanced traffic management system software and furnish advance traffic controllers hardware.                  
- Monitor and reduce traffic congestion.
- Move multiple modes of traffic more effectively.
- Improve operations to improve safety
- This advanced traffic management system portion of the project shall select a Contractor to furnish and install all necessary hardware, software, network (on-site and/or cloud), hosting services, integration, acceptance testing, training, support, and documentation to enhance the advanced traffic management system software. The Contractor shall be able to provide a solution that includes furnishing, deployment, installation, hosting, integration, and maintenance to meet the project requirements for the advanced traffic management system.
- Software compatibility with existing and future intersection controllers
- Ability to create/modify/adjust timing plans and patterns at an intersection, a
group of intersections, or corridor
- Remotely and quickly access advanced traffic management system to effect changes at intersection, groups of intersections, corridor
- Support multimodal systems such as: emergency preemption, transit priority, peds, cyclist.
- Reporting of field data, seamless conversion to performance dashboards and reports.
- Interoperability with stakeholders and partners.
- Automation for monitoring and decision-support systems / alarms / alerts.
- Interoperability with the most recent technology.
- Support agency applications with the signal systems.
- System sustainability – the advanced traffic management system shall support inventory management and maintenance.
