[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide nutrition services software
- Current systems utilized by Nutrition Services department
- Infinite Campus (IC) is the district’s Student Information System (SIS).
- PayForIt.net through PaySchools is the district’s fee management system
- Multiple payment imports from PayForIt to MCS Software (Newton) performed throughout the day via a scheduled job
- Student transactions are exported from MCS Software (Newton) to PayForIt twice daily via a scheduled job
- Financial System used by the district to account for all financial activity across all District operating funds
- Includes data & reporting capabilities for General Ledger and Budget, as well as modules for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Inventory & Cost Accounting
- Current Meal Data Exports from Newton to PeopleSoft
- Newton houses cafeteria settings and acts as a server to Newton POS lines at each cafeteria
- Menu planning software housing ingredients, recipes, and menus for all grade levels
- Robust ingredient and recipe databases
- Ability to enter local ingredients and recipes
- Ability to flag food allergens at the ingredient and recipe level
- Ability to search by food allergen
- Recipe costing analysis tool for individual recipes, entire cycle menus, and cycle menu weeks
- Production record entry and tracking at the central office level and school site levels
- Integrated food temperature monitoring software with customizable reporting and history capabilities
- Ability to communicate with multiple POS machines from one central system at once and in real-time
- Ability to input student allergies that provides an allergen alert if an item contains that allergen is selected on the POS
- Ability to show chain of approval for monthly claims - shows when claim information was finalized.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 22, 2023.
