[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide postal equipment and software.
• Software Requirements;
- Contractor should Indicate the operating system and the programming language upon which the system is based.
- Provide explanation of your systems browser requirements as they relate to the Windows PC’s and MAC’s. Specify all internet browsers (and versions) that are supported and/or recommended for the proposed software.
- Responses should indicate any support needed for client-side scripting languages or plug-ins (e.g. JavaScript, Active X Controls, Adobe Flash, etc.)
- Postal and Parcel Services would like to replace their current equipment and software with two high-volume mailing systems, one low-volume mailing system and software that integrates with the equipment and with agency's systems.
- The proposed software should be able to fully integrate with the equipment and should integrate with agerncy's in house system. All software should be able to communicate with the new equipment. E-return receipt is not needed.
• System Description
- Provide technical specifications literature/datasheet that describes the proposed system and each systems capabilities Including the following:
· Explain how the proposed system can address the needs of ISU. (If multi-color ink is available, indicate this and if that includes only standard colors or if Pantone match is possible.)
· Describe future growth options and future upgrade paths for the system.
· Describe the “look and feel” and overall ease of use of the system.
· Describe the different user roles available in the system and the level of access each user role will have to data.
· Describe how business rules are set-up and changed in the system, who is able to create and make changes (Contractor or agency), and any costs to agency.
· Describe the reporting system.
· Provide a list of all standard reports included with the system.
· Describe the custom reports that can be requested and the process for requesting custom reports, including who creates the custom reports, and any cost to agency.
· Provide information about the level of customization that is possible with the proposed system and the customization request process. Describe who is responsible for testing customizations (Contractor or agency) and how customizations affect future enhancements and upgrades.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 25, 2023.
